February 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): After the great success of Mitali Chaudhry’s first music album “Tofha’, the singer is now ready to rock with another Indi Pop album titled “Piya’. Mitali’s sweet voice, her style of singing, versatility and her ability to sing on a high pitch (scale) have attracted many music directors in Bollywood. But the singer has something different in her mind for her album “Piya’. When we asked the singer about her album “Piya’ and why an Indi-Pop album when she is actually a classical singer she replies, “Classical singing is the base of all songs, without classical base no one could even think of singing then be it Pop, Fusion or anything. Through “Piya’, I am testing myself, as I always wanted to try different form of singing and never wanted to restrict my voice to certain style of songs.”

“Thus, I thought of releasing an Indi-Pop album which will contain all kind of songs with different variation and moods. “Piya’ consist of songs with various moods; it has romantic feel, classical folk touch, fusion tadka and everything in one music album. Hopefully this album is also liked by listeners,” signs off Mitali.
