Dynamic Duo Tapan Raj and Gaurav Raina, also known as the ‘Midival Punditz’ are out with their third studio album ‘Hello Hello’. Their music being very non-mainstream is all the rage among the youth of today.
Gaurav Raina spoke of the band’s influences in a recent interview, “Our influences in life keep changing as we progress, and so does our sound. Our music is a reflection of our influences and experiences, more than anything else. We try and honestly document through music, what we feel and experience as we go along in our live.”
On their views of how Indian music should sound like in the 21st century, Tapan said, “India is a threshold of a musical renaissance of sorts. India is going global in a big way and addressing the whole world in a new light. So should Indian music…21st century Indian music should be more universal in its communicative value. But at the same time not lose its true classical and folk essence
