MasTradio is a small non-profit oriented webradio located in New York, USA covering quality sound genres from the Indian subcontinent. A good amount of effort is made to keep the playlists current and focused on genre from Hindi, Urdu, New Age and World. The founder, Raj Yadav runs this station in his spare-time and is an IT professional. For those who don't know or are curious, the word 'Mast' is a loosley defind term for things "aloof, jolly, free-flowing or intoxicating". This station is trying to capture the same thoughts and feelings in the music selection. The goal is to bring you, the listener - in a 'Mast' state of mind. :) Even though you are getting this service free of cost right now, it does not mean that it is indeed free to run. As with any non-profit program, we are looking for volunteers who can contibute towards this effort. We understand that there are quite many webcasting services presently on the web. We believe that our variety is fairly unique and not a mainstream run. To that end, we are constantly looking for new and exciting sounds from around the planet.
